Once Billy and Sheliah decided they wanted to get married, it was on. In a week. That's right. A week. She talked to me on Sunday for a wedding cake that Friday. I was glad to do it for her. Best Wishes, Billy and Sheliah for a long and happy marriage.

Melody Marie's Wedding Cake
Something simple. That's all Melody Marie told me as we began our conversation about her expectations for her wedding cake. We looked at all types of cakes but came back every time to "something simple." Finally, we found the cake she loved. Here it is!

Bright, Whimsical Wedding Cake!
Kari was not the traditional bride with her cowboy boots under her wedding dress! So her cake was not going to be traditional either -- chocolate cake with bright swirls and flowers! Blessings on both of you for many years of happiness!

Jeremy and Candace's Wedding Cake

Wedding in December
Ms. Shumaine asked me to create her wedding cake that would be something out of the ordinary. We looked at several designs and decided on a cherry blossom motif, only using shades of purple.

Small Wedding Cakes for Great Friends!
My dear friend, Kim, called to ask me to make her a small wedding cake for an after wedding dinner. My first instinct was, NO, I can't do a wedding cake! But she talked me into it, and she and Curt had a beautiful wedding and a lovely dinner party of sorts afterward. The cake was "wedding white" with buttercream and cornelli lace in royal icing. I was a wreck, but the cake was a success! Congrats to Kim and Curt! Blessings to you both!
About a month after Kim's wedding, another former co-worker, Karri, called and asked me to make a cake for her wedding celebration. This time, however, Ms. Alice, her 12-year old daughter, was in charge of the plans for the cake. And what did Ms. Alice want? FONDANT!!! I made gumpaste calla lilies and leaves, with fondant pearls to enhance the cake. Both Alice and Karri were happy with the results! Blessings to Karri and Danny as they begin their life together!
